Freedom Plan 24 of 32 · Rights & Privacy

NO DIGITAL PAPERS PLAN

Americans should not need government permission to exist in everyday society.

No permission slip for everyday life.

The plan

Lisa opposes mandatory federal digital identification systems that could become necessary to work, travel, bank, communicate, purchase goods, or participate in ordinary life. Digital credentials may be useful when voluntarily chosen. They become dangerous when government makes them compulsory.

Why it matters in Louisiana

Families and small businesses in New Orleans and across Louisiana’s 2nd Congressional District feel federal taxes, rules, delays, and hidden costs in everyday bills. Lisa will judge proposals by whether they expand choice, reduce unnecessary costs, protect individual rights, and leave decisions closer to the people affected.
